Conventional oil also is called "dino" oil. That is because it is the same substance drawn from beneath the Earth and refined into oil and other products. Semi-synthetic combines conventional oil with synthetic oil to provide specific lubrication capabilities not matched by standard conventional oil. Many prefer full synthetic oil due to the additional lube properties contained in synthetic oils. If you drive a diesel, we also have oil that will handle those oil change services.
